Ecolect is a blog/resource/community where you can find sustainable materials for building, remodeling, or whatever else you might want to make. Anything from paints, wood, textiles, tiles, paper, insulation...the list goes on. But knowing the products are lessening your ecological footprint* gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. However, I think it would be a difficult sell to get a client to go for "Elephant Dung Paper".

* Ecological Footprint: (EF) You're going to probably start hearing this a lot. It is a way to "measures human demand on nature. It compares human consumption of natural resources with planet Earth's ecological capacity to regenerate them" (via wiki) Basically how much you take from the earth and how much you give back.
