Coasters

"This must be Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays." -HGTTG (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

I think the quote almost every Thursday and today is no exception so I decided to find something that made me giggle today. These coasters are brilliant and made from recycled automobile tires. Too bad they are $38 for only 4 coasters.

P.S. I am trying to remember to link all of my pictures up so that if you click on the picture it takes you somewhere, usually the site it's from or where to buy it. But occasionally somewhere like....here.

Business card card for Tur & Partner (a landscape architecture firm) designed by Jung von Matt. Simply awesome.

"Add a little light and water to this seeded business card and in a couple days, you’ve got yourself a professionally landscaped miniature garden. Seeds embedded into the card sprout right through the holes in the plan printed on the card."

UPDATE on Capital 1 logo

I was just happen to be checking the site today and what do I see? The "unveiling" of their new logo:

At first glance I thought there was a glitch in their website. I see what they are going for, butttt eh...it looks a bit odd.

Valentine's Day

Well I hate to break it to you, but I'm not much of one for Valentine's day. We're pretty much going to ignore it this year (I asked Mike and he said thats ok, haha). However, if we were to get into the spirit of the holidays I would decorate with this heart garland from CoriKindred's esty shop. I just absolutely adore it! (Probably because decorating for a typically pink holiday with black makes me a happy little girl.)
